In this video I show you step-by-step how I built a 36″ sliding barn door from scratch for under $200 for my master bedroom. The DIY Sliding Barn Door is made from Douglas Fir 2×6’s from Home Depot and tongue and groove pine, while the track is made from 1/8″ flat bar steel you can pick up at any hardware store. I found the wheels for $12/each at a local hardware store.
